Chocolatier Block of the Month Quilt Pattern - Hard Copy Paper


Celebrate the world's not-so-secret love affair with chocolate in the Chocolatier Block of the Month (BOM) Club. The Chocolatier BOM program takes the traditional skill-building quilt blocks and sets them in a fun oversized LeMoyne Star setting designed to look like wrapped truffles. Indulge in delectable chocolate treats and your favorite yummy fabric combinations while sewing this beautiful quilt with a bracelet border.

Finished Quilt Size: 72" x 72"
Finished Block Size: 6" x 6"

The Chocolatier BOM contains:
• 20 Block Patterns
• Instructions for Assembling the Quilt Top
• 12 Month BOM overall (begins January 2017)
• Each pattern has complete instructions, full color photos and diagrams. Each patterns is bagged separately.

Skill level: Intermediate

Most months will have participants making 2 blocks.

Patterns include fabric requirements for each of the 3 color ways featured by Chocolatier (Modern Milk using Cotton Supreme Solids; Dipped Strawberry using Jinny Beyer Palette; Cherry Cordial using Malam Batiks). Choose your favorite - or create your own color palette!

Chocolatier is running as a Block of the Month Club in 2017 via Gen X Quilters (

Fabric Requirements for the Modern Milk color way:
4 yards White Polka Dot background
1 1/8 yards each Caramel and Chocolate Solids
1 yard each Deep Pink, Dark Aqua and Yellow Solids
2/3 yard each Light Pink and Light Aqua Solids

(yardages for Dipped Strawberry and Cherry Cordial vary slightly)

4 1/2 yards Backing
80" x 80" Batting
5/8 yard Binding

The $30 Fee is a ONE TIME Fee that includes all 12 Patterns needed to make the quilt. Your fabric is purchased separately.

This Paper Pattern will be mailed to you on the First of the Month each month in 2017, starting January 1, 2017.
