Do you have a collection of orphan blocks? Leftover bee blocks? A sampler you started, and never finished? Yes, yes, yes! Here is a setting pattern for you to help you use those orphan blocks with a fun modern aesthetic.
This pattern gives you the setting instructions for a lap sized 4 block sampler based on the Patchwork Auditions Workshop Quilts shown in the photo.
*NOTE* This pattern only includes setting instructions to make the quilt top. You will need to provide (4) 12 1/2” x 12 1/2" unfinished quilt blocks ready-made of your choice to feature in the center column of the quilt. I, of course, recommend any of the blocks in the book, Sister Sampler Quilts by AnneMarie Chany. ;) But really, any 4 blocks will do. Any (4) 12” blocks can be used to make the quilt top.
The 3-page full color PDF pattern gives you fabric requirements, step-by-step instructions and color diagrams for the quilt.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
Finished Size: 52" x 60"
Fabric Requirements: Main Background (Blue Chambray) 2 1/2 yards, White Background 5/8 yard, 4 yards Backing, 1/2 yard Binding, Batting 60" x 68".
Please do not copy or share any part of this pattern. Feel free to sell products made with this pattern, but do not mass produce. Please list designer attribution on products.
Blocks shown in the photos are color variations of Rising Star and Moon & Star from Sister Sampler Quilts.
